Plant
Our cocoa-growing process begins with selecting suitable land and preparing nutrient-rich soil to support healthy growth. Carefully selected cocoa seedlings are planted in shaded conditions and nurtured with regular watering, proper care, and sustainable farming practices. As the trees mature, they develop flowers and cocoa pods, which are monitored until they are ready for harvesting. Every stage is important in producing quality cocoa beans that can be processed into valuable cocoa products.

Dry
After harvesting and fermenting, the cocoa beans are carefully spread out on raised drying platforms or clean drying surfaces under the sun. They are regularly turned to ensure even drying and prevent mould growth. This process reduces moisture content, preserves the beans’ quality, and prepares them for storage, transportation, and further processing into high-quality cocoa products.

Process
Once the cocoa beans are properly dried, they are cleaned, sorted, and prepared for processing. The beans are roasted to develop their rich aroma and distinctive flavour, then cracked and winnowed to remove the outer shells. The cocoa nibs are ground into cocoa liquor, which can be further processed into cocoa powder, cocoa butter, and other cocoa-based products. At every stage, quality control helps ensure consistency, safety, and the preservation of cocoa’s natural characteristics.
